At DediSERVE we can cater to every requirement, yet there are some misconceptions about OnApp that are better laid out in black and white, so you can be sure it will be a good fit for you.

There is a 2TB limit to the capacity of a primary disk within OnApp. However, importantly, there is no limit to the size of a secondary disk.

The misconception that OnApp only supports 2TB of disk is false, you can create up to a 2TB boot disk, and an unlimited secondary/tertiary disk for every VM.

It often makes more sense to keep the boot disk small however, circa 50GB, then create a full-sized secondary disk, which can be mounted anywhere within the file system.ย

If you'd like a disk larger than 2TB created and are unsure how, simply get in touch with our support team, who are always happy to help.
